11:25: Community Discussion: Where do we allocate our funds in 2020?
Estimated amounts will be based on 2020 budget with 2019 actuals. See 2019 budget
Standing investments: idealDESIGN,inc, Downtown Kirkwood clean up 6x year, Kirkwood Wine Stroll, Operations, Storage Unit.
Board ideas include a microgrant to a StartMe Cohort, set partnership donation to Kirkwood Cares on a specific house - it develops a stronger relationship between KBOA & Kirkwood Cares, Start a Wellness Program for School Teachers and 1st Responders in Kirkwood and hold a series of business seminars in 2020.
What are your ideas? Social media class for business owners, free consultation for the winner in the seminar, share consulting in the food industry (practice safe food prep), legal business class: incorporating, business planning, structuring your business, seminar on healthcare for small businesses - if we can get healthcare through KBOA, benefits for small businesses, have something on grants - investigate all the different grants that are available in GA,
Anyone opposed about the microgrant for StartMe? NO
Add a mindset/business coaching
