Kirkwood Cares: $1000: To provide critical repairs to the homes of low income residents in Kirkwood.
Atlanta Clay Works: $1000: Workshops and Training for Refugees. Art Project Volunteers for Foster Care
Neighbor in Need, Inc. EAST LAKE: $1000: Assisting low income elderly within East Lake, Kirkwood and Edgewood communities to make emergency home repairs.
Veterans Empowerment Organization - VEO: $1000: Providing immediate short-term housing for homeless veterans with wrap-around services to transition them to self-sufficiency.
Toomer Parent Teacher Association (PTA): $1000: Toomer Parent Rides will start 2019-2020 school year and will include money towards shuttles for events, UberX and Lyft credits for parents, and establishing a volunteer parent ride sharing service. This project will serve an estimated 200 parents to ensure that they can get a ride to school events, conferences, or to pick up their child when he or she is sick.
